Weathergrams

Weathergrams are constructed of biodegradable, brown kraft paper that is 2.5” wide by 10” long before the top is folded over, and then a jute string is attached. They can be hung anytime; however, the tradition is to hang them outdoors between Solstice and Equinox (about June 22 to December 22) or Equinox and Solstice (about March 21 to September 23).

During that period of time, they weather with the elements and become a part of nature. Sometimes even the birds use them in building their nest! Solstice and Equinox parties are a fun way to incorporate the sharing of this gift! My Weathergrams are unique, as I have designed the back that fits with nature, but adds a bit of color and interest.
